libsimage-dev software package provides generic interface to various image file format libraries. Development files., you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libsimage-dev
libsimage-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libsimage-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libsimage-dev *
You will get with libsimage-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
